"School...college...corporate...school again...oops !!! Sorry marriage in between...the saga continues....."
Yes, probe deeper and that's what I felt like when I made it to this hallowed institute....A wide eyed disbelief and an equally introspective lookback at the ironies in having made it finally but alas within 2 months of marriage.....Life just got better..or should I say it sucks????
And here we got together....ambitous,wide eyed executives turned school goers trying to figure out press reports of GMP @ XLRI amidst the myriad 1 year and much publicized peers..Well the IIMs ,ISBs and SPJainswith their new avatars : PGPX....oh so they mention their "X" as well..cool...then we dont mind being called Exec-PGDGM.... !!!!!
But the nemesis turned out to be LH-3....jacked by suprise quizzes and Syngalisms...all we could manage was count the tests where the positive marks were more than the negatives...Thank God we didnt study psychiatry..else it would have been a repeat lesson for us....And then the God appears and says..Lo Behold !! Who got these 55 jokers together...but dude that was fun, managerial miscommunication at its best...I thought I was good at speeches till I knew I had to give a consolation speech...donkeys just can't console !!!!!! And then the grand dinner..oh the eating etiquttes...I was actually wondering...Spoon on the right and fork on the left..no..I guess it was spoon on the left and fork on the right...forget it..EAT....And then I met a guy who wud not sleep for 3 days together and stay tuned with his financial wizardry .... someone said 60 hrs of effort to finish off 1 assignment...Was that 60 hrs at a stretch ????? The finishing line was funny....it begun with projects.We used to get up at 8:00 and sleep at 5:00, dont ask me AM or PM, zombies don't remember time. Someone would quip everyday "Let's kills the beasts(finish the projects)" and wow, when we thought its all over, here came the God again and said "dudes !!! I think I had forgotten to give you some more beasts and there we were killing more beasts within a week alongwith our exams...oops sorry end term!!! Man...did someone say don't procrastinate...., but well the habit that has been cultivated from nursery just doesn't vanish in a day (We Indians are best under pressure...by the way, how did someone define pressure??)....
And thus happened the trailer to the least outspoken and the one of the most thrashed yet unheard peers of exec-MBA (did I hear someone say executing MBAs?), what with the grades coming in as C pos(sible), B pos(sible) and when even the best keeps waiting for the A pos(sible, is it?).
